I like working with a variety of media. A different type of story emerges from the interactions I have with encaustic v. mixed media v. photography v. installations. My photographic work is generally a more structured narrative, whereas the encaustic work taps into an idea/story that is more abstract and open to the viewer’s perception and history. My video installations rely as much on sound as on visual content to move the viewer along a path.
